Your default browser, ie the browser that opens automatically when you start your PC, should be equivalent to Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4 or Netscape Navigator version 4 or above. If you have an older version, you can update it for free by visiting the Microsoft or Netscape websites and downloading a more recent version that is compatible with your computer. Javascript/Active scripting
You should have Javascript enabled in your browser. Javascript is used to add functionality to the site. For Internet Explorer: select 'Internet options' from the 'Tools' menu; click the 'Security' tab and select 'Internet zone'; click 'Custom level' and scroll down the list some way to the 'Scripting' section; ensure 'Active scripting' is enabled.
For Netscape Navigator: select 'Preferences' from the 'Edit' menu; select 'Advanced' and ensure the 'Enable Javascript' button is checked.

Some files are available on the site as PDF files. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4 or above installed on your computer to read these files.
