Welcome to the Shine Awards 2008, the only national awards that celebrate companies and individuals in Britain’s Travel, Tourism and Hospitality sector for their effort in retaining, attracting and developing talents.
Since their inception in 2004, The SHINE Awards® have recognised the increasingly important role played by women in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality by celebrating their success, professionalism and care. This year we are proud to announce that the Awards are being re-launched with a new set of company categories, enhanced content and thought leadership in the area of talent management.
The Shine Awards 2008 will be seminal in that it will call a roundtable of industry representatives to share knowledge, good practice and information about talent management in the travel tourism and hospitality sectors. The outcome of the roundtable will be announced at the Awards ceremony.

We are proud to support The Family Holiday Association, our featured charity, which helps over 1,200 disadvantaged families with young children every year by giving them access to a week-long holiday at the seaside. The money raised at the Awards ceremony will help lone mothers and their families.
