Talent Management
Much has been written about talent management. It is certainly an issue for every HR professional. How it is addressed depends on the size of the organisation, its culture, ambition and mangers.
By 2020 only 20% of the mangers in the western world will be male and under 40. Traditional management is dying out. So where will the next generation of managers come from? Every company that relies on the brains and thought processes of bright people needs a succession plan.
Our view is that mentoring is just one ingredient necessary for an effective talent management strategy. But it is the most important one.
