Who We Are

Alessandra Alonso and Gaby Marcon set up Shine People and Places in 2004. We were joined by Elizabeth Pratt in 2007. We are all senior professionals whose individual expertise ranges from economic development to marketing and management consultancy.

Over the past five years we have been advising companies and individuals on different aspects of personal and professional development. Our different expertise, together with our individual and team skills, lie at the heart of our success.

We believe that the challenge faced by all businesses is how best to get the most out of their staff and win their loyalty. We think that the most cost effective way to manage talented people is through developing a culture of in-house coaching and mentoring.

The three of us design and manage the client programmes. That means that one of us is personally responsible for each client programme.

As well as English, we speak Italian, French, German and Spanish fluently, a fact that is warmly welcomed by our clients who operate internationally.
