Background and Qualifications
With 30 years of operational experience at all levels in service industries both at unit and multi-unit levels, Brian Murphy is an accomplished senior director who has successfully developed businesses mostly in this country but also in Europe and the Middle East. This experience was gained in a range of operations in size style and location. These were some of the most complex and competitive businesses and most required major reconstruction. The resulting changes have made improvements to both the financial returns and the standards achieved.
Brian's key strengths are in creating teams that will operate in different business environments and motivating them to produce the desired results. This has been done by mentoring and coaching the key managers and supervisors to focus on the aims and targets of the company.
Approach & Style
His style includes using one to one meetings and where required, departmental and business wide sessions to ensure that communications and goals are clear to all levels of the teams. He feels that it is personal contact and rapport that achieves the greatest results.
