Background and Qualifications

Gilly Freedman is a highly experienced career consultant, coach, trainer and supervisor working with clients up to board level. Her particular areas of expertise are in career coaching senior managers, training managers in career coaching skills and working with senior women to support their career development.

Gilly's professional qualifications include a Diploma in Advanced coaching skills, a Diploma in Solution Focused work, a Diploma in Systemic management and an M. Litt in Language and Psychology.

Gilly had a background of Training Manager roles in the City prior to becoming a career consultant and before that, worked for the British Council in Italy and Poland.

Gilly has worked across a vast range of organisations in the Private and Public sectors including: the Housing corporation, The Audit Commission, The Bank of England, BBC, the Home office, the Ministry of Defence, ITV, Glaxo Smithkline, Pfizer, KPMG, and Boots.
She has been involved in setting up a Certificate in Career Coaching and Talent management with Kingston University and running preparation days for this course.
Gilly has written several professional manuals including 'Networking' and 'Job Search' and is currently writing a book on' Taking a Career break'.

Gilly's depth of experience in the area of coaching and career development together with her theoretical and business knowledge enable her to work confidently with any career or career related issues.

She places particular emphasis on a solution focused approach to both individual and group development and adds particular value by working with underlying as well as presenting issues.
