Background and Qualifications

Hoda Lacey is an experienced and qualified senior manager who has operated up to board level. Her management and organisational experience has been mainly gained in the service industry, where she spent 15 years working both in the UK and abroad.

A training and development consultant, with a Masters Degree in Personal & Organisational Development and diplomas in coaching, clinical hypnotherapy, NLP, and stress management, she specialises in the fields of management learning; communication; inter-personal skills; management of pressure; and conflict resolution. She has studied with some of the top international experts in the fields of business psychology.

Hoda has acted as consultant and staff development adviser to both the public and private sectors. Among her past and current clients are Carlson Wagonlit Travel; DFDS Seaways; London City Airport; Luton Airport; Mundy Cruising; The Albatross Travel Group; The National Trust; Transport for London; Wexas International, Waltham Forest Social Services, IPSOS market research, the LDA and Reuters.

She has led validated diploma courses in stress management at Kings College, London. Hoda is a qualified mediator and manages Conflict Resolution (UK), set up to practice, teach and promote the skills of conflict resolution and mediation in workplaces.

Hoda has also been a keynote speaker at conferences, seminars and business meetings. She is the author of "How to Resolve Conflict in the Workplace" published by Gower and is a columnist with the Travel Trade Gazette and Travel Bulletin.

Hoda's qualifications and experience enable her to adopt holistic solutions, combining a thorough understanding of both commercial and inter-personal needs.

She places special emphasis on increasing self-awareness; open communication; solution focused thinking; and improving inter-personal relationships. She considers these to be the essential life-skills and foundations of successful people and successful organisations.
